Standard passenger weight tables
Standard weights: Transport Canada passenger weights for weight and balance when no actual weights are available.
- Include personal clothing and carry-on allowance, not stripped weight. Add nothing on top (TC AIM RAC 3.4.2, 3.4.7).
Passengers 12 years or older (Table 3.1):
| Summer | Winter | |
|---|---|---|
| Male | 93.4 kg (206 lb) | 96.2 kg (212 lb) |
| Female | 78.1 kg (172 lb) | 80.7 kg (178 lb) |
| Gender X | 93.4 kg (206 lb) | 96.2 kg (212 lb) |
- Gender X: equals male figure in both seasons.
- Winter > summer every row: heavier winter clothing.
Children and infants (Table 3.3), one figure year-round:
| Age | Weight |
|---|---|
| Children, 2 to 11 years | 34 kg (75 lb) |
| Infants, 0 to under 2 years | 13.6 kg (30 lb) |
Trap: swapping kg and lb for the same row, quoting the female figure for Gender X, or picking summer when the question means winter.
